The Glass Shatters Into Stars

The title of this blog is based off of a random drawing I made tonight.

I randomly though of a broken clock and numbers scattered all over the page. But then there was all this empty white stuff underneath the broken glass. So I started to think what is behind time... what is behind broken time. So I thought... and dreamed. And that's exactly what's behind it. What I can dream up can be. And so I drew stars and the universe. Because I don't really understand it, but for some reason I am drawn to the unknown... I think we all are. 

Anyway... I'm Carrie. I am going to use this new blog as a place to keep all of my ideas. I try to write in journals and keep thoughts together but I never can seem to put them all in one place. So I am going to use this URL to keep sketches, writing, poems, thoughts, anything my mind can imagine. I might post just a picture one day.... 

And that's another thing. I am not going to promise myself I will use this everyday, or twice a week, or any set amount of time. Because as you can see from my sketch above time gets broken just like promises. I don't make promises I can't keep, and I can't keep a promise of using this every so often. 

And, that's about it. I am going to have a main blog part for everything I put up but then I am going to make tabs on the side bar that will say "Sketches" and "Poems" so that I stay a little organized. See, I am really good at ranting and doing random unorganized things. But I need a tiny bit of organization in my life or I go completely crazy.
